Skating Through the Summer

Skating Through the Summer

After an 11-year hiatus, last summer I decided to get back onto a skateboard.

It took a lot of days of practicing and getting reacquainted with the feeling of being on a board again before I felt comfortable just cruising around on it. Getting back into skateboarding I realized that I needed to find the right board size for the best fit to my style and what feels right for me. After trying out a couple of different sizes I narrowed it down and got my own board to start practicing on.

Realizing I needed a nice, neat, place to store my boards when I wasn’t able to get on them that’s when I came across Grassracks Bamboo Racks. These awesome racks made from bamboo and birch are sleek and easy to install. They also have a variety of other racks for plenty of other outdoor activities and even some wine racks.

Now that I felt comfortable back on a board I thought I’d try my hand at an electric skateboard to cruise around with ease. With so many options available on the market I had a hard time finding what kind I should be getting. That’s when a friend recommended to me Teamgee, a website with a great variety of models and tons of accessories for them. With the help of their community of board lovers, I was able to find the perfect one for me. All that’s left is to wait for summer and the warm weather to come around again to get back out there!
